The steering committee offers advice to the Crisis Science Project. In the steering committee, representatives of various departments of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Federal Chancellery work together and facilitate project-based collaborations with multiple partners. The German office of the Wellcome Trust brings an international perspective to the steering committee.
The development team of the Crisis Science Project regularly exchanges ideas regarding intended approaches and prospective outcomes with the steering committee. In this way, the needs and perspectives of potential users within the ministerial administration can directly feed into the work on the prototypes.
