Curriculum vitae

Nikolas Hubel is a sociologist and futures scientist specialising in qualitative/participative methods. Since 2023, he has been a scientific consultant in the "Work and Futures Research" group of the iit. From 2019 until 2023, he worked at the Institute for Vocational Education Research (IBBF) with a focus on future skills, digitalisation and sustainability in vocational education and training. Prior to that, he worked for three years at the Centre for Technology and Society (ZTG) at the Technical University of Berlin and in the Future Research and Trend Transfer department at Volkswagen AG. In all his professional positions, he has worked as a facilitator and moderator in a variety of event settings. For him, orchestrating interactive spaces for exchange, mutual inspiration and strategic planning is a central element of successful innovation processes.
