Curriculum vitae
After many years of professional activity, Regina Buhr took up a degree in social and economic sciences at the Hamburg School of Economics and Politics (HWP). She then worked as a research assistant in the Department for Scientific Continuing Education at the HWP, focusing on technology - work - environment, women and technology. In 1991, she moved to the Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB) with a research focus on technology genesis, organizational learning, corporate culture, gender in innovation processes. This was followed by a doctorate at the TU Berlin. Since 2001 Regina Buhr has been working for the VDI/VDE-IT, among other things as project manager in the area of society and economy (today education and science). She has been a staff member of the iit since its establishment in 2007, among other things as the person responsible for technical education.
