Curriculum Vitae

Benedikt Sedlmayr studied Geography and Business Administration at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, Business and Regional Development at the Munich University of Applied Sciences as well as Regional Management and Economic Promotion at the HAWK in Göttingen. After having gained professional experience in the field of regional economic development, he joined the VDI/VDE Innovation + Technology GmbH and iit in 2017 as a consultant. His fields of expertise include cluster and innovation policy as well as regional innovation processes and strategic economic promotion. The data-based analysis and assessment of regional innovation potentials and the development of innovation and cluster strategies form the core of his work. In addition, he supports the ClusterAgentur Baden-Württemberg in advising cluster management and business development organizations.
