Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Anne Dwertmann studied Biomedical Science at the University of Marburg, specialising in molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics. She obtained her doctorate in Molecular Cancer Research at the Theodor-Boveri-Institute of the University of Würzburg. She has worked at VDI/VDE-IT as a scientific consultant since 2013, mainly for the Global Health Department of the Ministry of Education and Reserach (BMBF). In this function, she evaluates scientific grant proposals, especially for transnational research projects that aim at transforming basic research findings into healthcare products. Dr. Dwertmann also consults the Ministry of Health (BMG) concerning personalized medicine.
