Curriculum Vitae

Heiko Kempa received a PhD in solid state physics from the University of Leipzig and worked as a scientist and engineer in the industry and at research institutes on the fields of organic and printed electronics as well as photovoltaics. Since 2014 he is scientific co-worker of VDI/VDE-IT and supervises projects related to electronics and microsystems on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. At present he leads on behalf of Saxony’s Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labour and Transport the project “StrategieWerkstatt: Industrie der Zukunft”, which develops fundamentals of an industrial strategy for Saxony.
