Curriculum Vitae

After studying psychology with a focus on work and occupational topics, Johannes Geffers earned his PhD for his work on careers in IT-Startups. From 2011 to 2016, he dedicated himself to research in the field of higher education and innovation research, working at the Humboldt-University Berlin and for the Global Young Academy at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. Focal areas of his research are working conditions and career perspectives of early career researchers in Germany, ASEAN, and Africa as well as opening higher education for new target groups.

Since 2017, Dr. Johannes Geffers is working at VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH in the department of Education, Science and Humanities.
