Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Martin Brüchert studied Technical Biology and Biomimetics at the University of Saarland out of interest in inventions from nature and received his doctorate in 2009 at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn with a thesis on bio-inspired infrared sensors in natural sciences. At the FernUniversität in Hagen, he also completed a study of economics.

Since February 2018 he heads the newly founded Bonn office of VDI/VDE-IT and is active as a senior consultant. Previously, he was a researcher of future studies and business unit manager at the Fraunhofer Institute for Technological Trend Analysis INT. As an expert in technology trends and innovation research, Dr. Martin Brüchert supports clients in identification, evaluation and funding of new research topics and in development of foresight processes and methods.
