Curriculum Vitae

Steffen Wischmann studied technical biology and bionics and received his doctorate in 2007 at the University of Bonn on communication and cooperation in robot swarms. He then worked at the EPFL in Lausanne in the management of international R&D projects on robotics and artificial intelligence. Since 2013, Dr. Steffen Wischmann has been working at VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH and heads the "Data Economics and Business Models" group in the Society and Innovation department. He also represents iit in the VDI/VDE-GMA Technical Committee 7.22 "Working World Industry 4.0".
