Curriculum Vitae

After studying business administration and economics, literature and linguistics, Robert Peters first worked as a research assistant at the RWTH Aachen University, where he investigated the digital transformation in the textile industry. Since May 2019 he has been working as a consultant at the institute for innovation and technology. Here he initially headed the project "Perspectives 2035", a future study on the development of textile industry and textile research in Germany commissioned by the Forschungskuratorium Textil e. V. Since the beginning of 2020 he has also been deputy head of the BMAS research project QuaTOQ. In this project, he is investigating the influence of digitisation on work organisation and qualification requirements in various sectors. In addition, he is working on the topics "The future of payment transactions", "Effects of autonomous driving in public transport on employees", among others.

Robert Peters has been a freelance moderator since 2015. He moderates workshops and other events with up to 6,000 participants. For the iit, he designs and moderates participatory foresight processes.
