Curriculum vitae

Dr. Alexandra Shajek has been working at VDI/VDE-IT since July 2014, since July 2018 as group leader "Education and Work". She is currently operational project manager of the "Innovation Support Measures for the Federal-Länder Competition "Advancement through Education: Open Universities" (INNOVUM-OH)" and deputy project manager for the "Federal Report on Young Academics 2021 (BuWiN 2021)". At iit, she has worked on projects including "Office of the International Expert Commission for the Evaluation of the Excellence Initiative" and "Investigation of the Impact of the Higher Education Pact". Previously, she worked as a research assistant at the Humboldt University of Berlin and as a visiting researcher at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW) in the Socio-Economic Panel (SOEP) department. In March 2014, Dr. Shajek also completed her doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) in the field of innovation research.
