Curriculum vitae

Dr. Lisa Johanna von Kleist studied chemistry at Gothenburg University in Sweden with a focus on molecular biology, biochemistry and pharmacology. She received her PhD from the Free University of Berlin in the field of biochemistry with a focus on the development of novel drugs against, among other things, viral uptake. Subsequently, she spent several years conducting studies, analyses and research in the fields of biotechnology and life sciences for public and private clients. In particular, she focused on drug discovery and technology transfer in the context of academic research and pharmaceutical companies as both employers and clients. Since 2019, she has been working at VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH as a research associate on behalf of the "Global Health" unit at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, among others.
