Curriculum vitae

Theresa Gerdes completed her Bachelor's degree in International Business and Management Studies at the Hanze University of Applied Sciences in Groningen (Netherlands). Part of the Bachelor's degree was an internship abroad, which Ms Gerdes completed at a German automotive supplier in South Africa, as well as a semester abroad at the EAE Business School in Barcelona. She earned her Master's degree at the European University of Flensburg in "International Management Studies" with a focus on "Strategy and Organisation". During her Master's studies and especially in her Master's thesis, Ms Gerdes dealt intensively with innovation potentials and R&D&I behaviour in networks and clusters.

Her professional focus is on cluster policy consulting at federal, state and municipal level, the analysis and evaluation of cluster and network structures, strategy consulting for various organisations, such as associations and business development agencies, as well as the implementation and moderation of events. She also has in-depth knowledge and experience in the preparation, technical supervision and evaluation of funding programmes/projects.
