Curriculum vitae

Uwe Vogel studied electrical engineering at the Technical University of Dresden with a focus on semiconductor and microsystems technology. After his studies he received his doctorate as Dr.-Ing. at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research in the fields of thin film metallization, solid state analysis and surface acoustic waves. The following two years he spent at the Humboldt University of Berlin researching in the field of organic semiconductors. At the same time, he led the setup of a new beamline at BESSY II Synchrotron. Since 2018, Uwe Vogel has been working as a research consultant at the iit in Dresden. In this context he is in charge of research projects in the field of electronic and microsystems as well as 5th generation mobile radio.
