Curriculum vitae
Dr. Thomas Kropp studied chemistry at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where he subsequently completed his doctorate on the topic of modelling chemical reactions in fuel cells. From 2017 to 2019, he was a research fellow of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, specializing in chemical energy conversion, and from 2019 to 2020 he spent a guest stay at the Fritz Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society in Berlin with a research focus on electrochemistry. Since 2020, Thomas Kropp has been working as a consultant at the Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit).He is deputy project manager of the funding programme “Carbon Contracts for Difference” of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK).
