Curriculum vitae
Dr. Katharina Dassel is a scientific consultant at the iit with a focus on data-driven innovations in health and care. She earned her doctorate on the topic of platforms, digital privacy, and decision-making architectures and has an interdisciplinary background in business administration, business informatics, and digital health. Her expertise includes health technology assessments, business model development, strategy development, as well as governance and data protection issues. In research and funding projects such as the “Future of Care” cluster, studies by the Bertelsmann Foundation, and the development of ethical AI guidelines for the BMAS, she works at the interface between research, practice, and innovation policy. She is committed to responsible innovation management in complex, interorganizational structures and supports data-based innovations in health and care with the aim of anchoring them not only technologically, but also socially, ethically, and institutionally in a sustainable manner.
