Accompanying evaluation of the German federal and state programme „FH Personal“

On behalf of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit), together with its partner Technopolis Group Deutschland, is conducting an accompanying evaluation of the federal and state programme to promote the recruitment and qualification of professorial staff at universities of applied sciences ("FH-Personal"). As part of the UAS personnel programme, the federal and state governments are supporting a total of 98 UASs in the development and implementation of university- and location-specific concepts for new ways of recruiting and qualifying young professors. The iit is investigating the extent to which the programme is achieving its objectives and intended effects. A broad spectrum of methods is used to carry out the research: desk research, analysis of the funding landscape, counterfactual analyses, online surveys, interviews with experts and workshops.
