Accompanying research 'Electro Mobile'

The funding program Electro Mobile of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) supports a wide range of R&D activities to exploit the climate and environmental benefits of electric vehicles, improve charging convenience, availability and utilization of charging infrastructure, and strengthen the value chain of electric mobility in the production sector. Focal points of the funded projects include integration of electric vehicles into the power system, interoperability of charging infrastructure, production technologies, the development and integration of charging infrastructure into urban developments of municipalities, standardization.

The goal of the accompanying research for this funding program is

a) to network the funded projects in the Elektro-Mobil funding program and to provide them with technical support,

b) to provide technical support to the client in the performance of its ministerial tasks, and

c) to make the impact of the funding program and the results achieved in the projects visible to the outside world and to inform the specialist public about them.

To this end, the accompanying research prepares specialist publications, holds workshops and events, carries out specialist evaluations and maintains contact with the specialist press.
