Evaluation of innovation-promoting public procurement Austria

The evaluation examined the extent to which the guiding concept for innovation-promoting public procurement (IÖB) established in 2011 has been successfully implemented or whether the corresponding setting enables efficient implementation. The evaluation is based on a mixture of quantitative and qualitative methods and has also developed recommendations for further implementation with the help of an international comparison. The study was carried out on behalf of KMU Forschung Austria together with Jakob Edler and Joanneum Research.
