IT Governance in International Higher Education Cooperations

In 2017/2018, the Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit) conducted a research study funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) on the topic of IT governance in international higher education cooperations. The main purpose of the study is to take a closer look at national and international practice at the interface between higher education governance and IT governance. The focus is on digitalisation processes for the management of student mobility and the associated data. Transferable experience values are to be identified from international good practice and trans-sectoral comparative projects for Germany, and conclusions for potential links are to be drawn.
