STARegio

As part of STARegio initiative in the metropolitan regions of Hanover, Braunschweig and Göttingen/Kassel, a study was conducted to determine the demand for skilled workers and the current training situation of companies in the new technologies microsystems technology, biotechnology, nanotechnology and optical technologies and their fields of application. The objective was to analyze the conditions for a stronger motivation for training in the new technologies and to formulate recommendations for action. The results of the study (conducted on behalf of imt Hannover) are available to the projects 'new4new' and 'TrainTec' as background information for further activities.
