Curriculum vitae
Peter Gabriel studied computer science at the TU Berlin. After working as a scientific assistant, project manager and deputy head of department at the University of Dortmund, the TU Berlin and the Fraunhofer Institute for Software and Systems Engineering ISST, Berlin, he has been a senior consultant at VDI/VDE-IT since 2001. He authored several technology assessment studies in the area of information and communication technology, among others for the Federal Office for Information Security, the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy and the VDE Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies. Mr Gabriel regularly assesses software and ICT start-ups for banks and investment companies. Peter Gabriel is project manager of the scientific assistance for the technology programme PAiCE funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy.
