Fostering Social Innovations

Social innovations as source of impact in the fields of social, ecological and economic change are increasingly in the focus of innovation policy. Viewing and promoting social innovations as an innovation paradigm in its own right means to think about transformation and transformation processes rather in systemic terms than just in technolo­gical terms. In this iit Spotlight, the authors outline current challenges as well as approa­ches to solutions in order to stimulate the discourse.
