Evaluation of the Austrian Space Strategy

For the Austrian Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (BMVIT), the Institute for Innovation and Technology (iit) evaluated the Austrian Space Application Programmes and the Austrian Space Strategy on behalf of KMU Forschung Austria. The focus of the evaluation was the assessment of the program design as well as the analysis of the program impacts and strategy success with regard to the set objectives. Within the scope of the evaluation, the iit was particularly concerned with the future design and further development of the space strategy. A broad spectrum of methods was used to carry out the evaluation: desk research: interviews with experts, bibliometric analyses, and expert Delphi methods.
