Curriculum vitae

Stefanie Demirci studied computer science with a minor in medicine and a focus on image and signal processing. In the course of stays abroad and study projects, she already gained her first international and industrial research experience in the field of computer vision and image processing. After her doctorate as Dr. rer. nat, she was active in national and international academic research for eight years and has gained reputation as an internationally recognized expert in the field of computer-aided medicine and imaging procedures. Stefanie Demirci has been with VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH since 2018 and accompanies innovative research and development projects on various technologies such as artificial intelligence, autonomous mobility, 5G, robot assistance and IT security. As a digital health expert, she is also actively involved in accompanying research for federal and state ministries and conducts regional future and innovation studies.
