Curriculum vitae

Dr. Melanie Erckrath studied educational science and special education at the University of Lüneburg and the University of Cologne. She completed her doctorate on the qualification and selection of school leaders at the Freie Universität Berlin. Before joining iit at VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH in 2020, Melanie Erckrath worked at the department of teacher education at the Senatsverwaltung für Bildung, Jugend und Familie Berlin at the interface of administration and science. As a research associate at the Department of Futher Education and Educational Management at Freie Universität Berlin and at the Professional School of Leuphana University Lüneburg, she has previously implemented academic further education courses and taught on the fields of school and further education.
