Curriculum vitae
After completing her BA in Governance and Public Policy, specialising in politics and political communication, Mona Hille worked in various roles in Berlin's political arena for several years, including as an office manager at a think tank and at the Berlin office of a Member of the European Parliament. During this time, she gained experience in strategic processes, participatory policymaking, and target group-oriented communication. To further develop her expertise, she completed a Master's degree in Future Studies at the Free University of Berlin, concluding her studies with a thesis on the political implications of an increasing number of climate-related lawsuits in the field of anticipatory governance between 2026 and 2040. The methodological and analytical skills she acquired during this time form the basis of her scientific consulting work for the Institute for Innovation and Technology.
She advises public clients, including federal ministries, authorities and European institutions, on future analyses and options for action in the context of technological upheaval, social change and multiple uncertainties. She designs and implements foresight processes in technological, labour and socio-political contexts within interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary project teams. Another focus of her work is teaching foresight methods in continuing education formats for businesses, administrations and internal qualifications.
