Julian Stubbe studied geography at the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn. After two years of scientific work at the Center for Technology and Society at TU Berlin, he moved to the Research Training Group "Innovation Society Today", where he dealt with sociological issues of scientific and artistic innovations and received his PhD in Sociology of Technology in 2017. Since then, he has been working as a consultant at VDI/VDE-IT in the field of demography, clusters and futurology. Julian Stubbe has published essays, studies, and a monograph on topics such as the social significance of technology and creativity as well as methodological issues in innovation research.
