Guido Zinke is economist and advises, evaluates and researches on behalf of the EU Commission and the Federal Ministries of Education and Research (BMBF) and Economics and Energy (BMWi) on innovation, industry, digital and technology policy issues. Since 2017 he worked as a senior consultant and project manager with VDI/VDE Innovation + Technik GmbH in the fields of innovation policy, start-ups, digital transformation and artificial intelligence. He is in charge of the scientific support of BMWi's "Smart Service World II" technology support programme, is responsible for the "Strategy" as part of a consulting-project for the BMBF ("Innovation Policy, Science Analysis and Communication, Data and Analysis Foundations for Education, Research and Strategy") and carries out various commissioned studies. Previously, he worked as policy consultant and evaluator for the german management consultancy Kienbaum and for the Danish consultancy Rambøll as well as for the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW).
